This is really bad because for many people fast food has become a way of life and fast and inexpensive alternative to cooking at home. Even further, consumption of those foods contributes to obesity which is one of the major causes of insulin resistance and development of diabetes.

Digestive Problems. People who are addicted to fast foods have big possibility to suffer from digestive issues like gastroesophageal reflux disease and irritable bowel syndrome. The oil soaked in fast foods gets deposited on the walls of the stomach lining, boosts acid production. Also, spices that are contained in those foods can irritate the stomach lining, worsening GERD and digestion. If fact those who consume fast food are less likely to eat fruits, vegetables and etc. This kind of eating habits can easily result in obesity.

Stress. Eating foods high in fat will contribute to numerous health problems related to heart, blood vessels, liver and also increases the level of stress.
