There is nothing better than starting your day with a fruit smoothie. One awesome thing about smoothies is how versatile they are, there are so many combinations to them. For sure one of the most favorite ways to make a breakfast smoothie is to add quick oats, which you can definitely add to this recipe to make an extra filling breakfast out of it.

Some other healthy ingredients can be added to this recipe including things like chia or flax seeds, protein powder, greens ( spinach/kale ), or nut butter. You may as well replace the raspberries with another berry you have on hand or perhaps you can replace the almond milk with soy, coconut or cow’s milk. Here’s just a basic recipe to get you started.

Ingredients (1 – 2 servings)
• 1/2 cup fresh raspberries (also you can use frozen raspberries)
• 1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen
• 1/2 cup original almond milk
• 1 (5.3 oz) container strawberry or raspberry Greek yogurt
• 1/4 cup water
• 3 – 4 ice cubes (optional)

Preparation
Put all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend until you reach a smooth texture. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
