Chia Seed Heart-Healthy Smoothie
Acai berries are loaded with antioxidants that are really important for increasing the levels of (HDL) the good cholesterol. On the other side, Chia seeds are also rich in antioxidants and additionally they are a rich source of cardiovascular health-beneficial omega-3 fatty acids.
## 3 1/2 oz frozen acai berries
## 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
## 1 1/2 – 2 tbsp chia seeds
## Stevia to taste (recommended – liquid form)
Combine almond milk and acai berries in a blender and blend until the mixture is smooth. Once that process is done add the stevia and chia seeds. Enjoy!
