Roasted Potatoes – Fantastic Addition To Your Meals!
Roasted potatoes are a fantastic addition to your meals, particularly when you eat some nice, delicious meat or barbecue or else you can eat them with fish as well. However, a combination of roasted potatoes with some tasty salad like a cabbage-beets salad, cucumber-tomato salad and etc is most likely the best choice for them all.
Just a couple of ingredients are needed for the recipe that we are giving you today. All of the ingredients are healthy, easy to find and inexpensive. Here are the ingredients:
• Potatoes (1 Kg, old potatoes with starch)
• Rosemary (fresh, 50 grams)
• Garlic (2 cloves)
• Butter (two teaspoons)
• Lemon (one fresh, organic)
• Salt and pepper
• Olive oil (60 ml)
Firstly wash and peel the potatoes. After that chop the potatoes into tiny pieces, then fill up one big pot with cold water and put the potatoes in it.
Add salt according to your wish and put the pot on the stove on high temperature. Boil them for about 25 to 30 minutes. Take the pot off the stove when you notice that the potatoes are becoming tender. During these 30 minutes in the meantime, you can mix the rosemary and garlic and put them in a small bowl. Take the pot off the stove and simmer the water from them.
Then, take a pan and put the olive oil all over it. Add the potatoes and put the pan on the stove for 5 minutes in order for the potatoes to roast. After the 5 minutes take out the pan from the stove and add the mixture of garlic and rosemary, also put the butter all over it. Again, put the pan back on the stove and roast the potatoes until they get nice red color. At the end take them out, put them on a plate, add a little bit of salt and pepper as well as grate the peel of lemon. The potatoes should be served hot.
