Simple Green Salad Recipe
Green salads are healthy, satisfying meals and the best way to incorporate vegetables into your daily diet. Particularly this green salad is made of romaine lettuce, cucumber, plum tomatoes and red onion. All of those ingredients are nutrient-dense which means this salad can be beneficial for your overall health. Minerals and vitamins such as Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B-6, Magnesium, and Calcium are most represented in this green salad.
• One head romaine lettuce
• One cucumber (peeled and sliced)
• 2 to 3 plum tomatoes (cored and cut into small wedges)
• One small red onion (sliced thin)
• Olive oil and red wine vinegar ( for taste)
• Salt and pepper
Take a large salad bowl and add the lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces as well as add the cucumber, tomatoes, and onion. At the end sprinkle with the oil, vinegar and add some salt and pepper. Stir the salad very well. Enjoy!
